    The deadliest car accident NY in the past 75 years

    哎，真不知道说什么好。发生在我去年每次上下班的必经之路上。

    一个长岛的妈妈，开着辆 Minvan，带着她的两个孩子，还有三个侄子/侄女，从camping营地回来，往家去，从Briarcliff manor的入口 想上到 Taconic parkway的south bound去，结果走了wrong way，直接开到通向north bound的ramp上，被撞得粉粉碎。她自己，她女儿，三个侄女/侄子 当场就死了。 儿子至今重度昏迷。撞上她的一辆无辜的车上的81岁的父亲和49岁的儿子也当场毙命。 她老公听到这个消息当场就呆了，好好的一个家庭，一瞬间全没了。怪就怪在，这个妈妈走了无数次这个口子，却不知为啥这次鬼使神差地丧命于此。

    昨天这个时候，我正好就在路过，然后高速被封了，车像蚂蚁一样往前爬。我想大概出车祸了，但没想到居然如此严重。这个上下高速的口，我去年每天必走，今年由于搬得离公司近了很多，所以不用再走这条高速。可是，谁能想那对父子开开心心说不定在吃buffet回来的路上，就遇到这种灾难。有谁能说准，什么时候，这种灾难会降临到谁的头上呢？ 

    周立波说得对：不要为了比别人快十分钟，结果比别人少活十年。惭愧得说，我就是那要抢那十分钟的人.. 对每个开车的人都是警醒：上高速的时候，宁肯停下来看清楚， 也别急着往上冲。 是不是该有人去管一管highway的 reliability？能不能把所有下来和上去的口子完全分分开？ 纽约这边有无数的烂路，根本没有标记，这帮人该拿着纳税人的钱去把这些无数年钱修的烂路给refactor一下了吧。 好像highway的reliability要比software 的reliabitlity重要得多！
